The composer writes: My Suite for Piano (1995) is a “signature piece,” beginning and ending with my initials (the notes C and E). My first (acknowledged) work for piano solo, it makes prominent use of extended pedal effects. It was written at the request of Toronto pianist Roland Starr, to whom it is dedicated.
